First Holdings Denies Inquirer Report

FPHC today issued a letter-disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange which sought to clarify rumors that there are talks between First Holdings and the Ayala Group on the acquisition of a 30-percent stake in First Holdings. The said rumors were reported by the Philippine Daily Inquirer in an article dated July 22, 2009.

First Holdings denies that it is in such discussions with the Ayala Group.
