Unified Holdings Corporation (UHC) was incorporated in 1999 as the holding company of FGP Corp. (FGP). FGP is the project company of the 500 MW San Lorenzo power plant. First Gen owns 100% of UHC.

FGP was established in 1997 to develop a 500 MW gas-fired combined cycle power plant in Santa Rita, Batangas which is adjacent to the 1000 MW Santa Rita Power Plant. Most of the economic and structural features that made the Santa Rita project attractive were replicated in San Lorenzo to preserve the innovative risk-mitigating structure. All major project agreements were substantially made similar to those used in the Santa Rita project.  Thus, the economic and commercial advantages of being located adjacent to Santa Rita were optimized.  

FGP is 60% owned by UHC and 40% owned by BG Philippines Holdings, Inc.

FGP maintains its certifications for integrated management system (IMS): ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:2004, and OHSAS 1800:1999. All were simultaneously certified by AJA Registrars Inc., with UKAS accreditation.
