FPHC's common shares were first listed at the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) on May 23, 1963. FPHC is one of the 30 'blue chip' companies that comprise the Philippine Stock Exchange Index (PSEi). FPHC together with its subsidiaries and affiliates (First Gen, EDC and Meralco) account for about 12% of PSEi. On April 30, 2008, FPHC also listed its perpetual preferred shares at the PSE.
